Guided horse trail
Riding hats are compulsory and are provided.
Please be at the stables at least 15 minutes before your riding time as we leave promptly at the allocated time. If you are late the ride will still return at the scheduled time and will be cut short.
If you are more than 15 minutes late then your ride will be canceled and no refund given.
Our trail ride prices are the same for both adults and children.
We have handlers for the less experienced riders and children that do not wish to ride the horse on their own. Children may not share a ride with an adult on one horse.
Ages six and older can ride on their own, depending on their riding skills and comfort. If not, they will be on a lead rein behind one of our guides.
Children under the age of six will be offered lead-rein pony rides under supervision around the farm.
The ride out was beautiful and peaceful. The horses were calm and well-behaved. Our main guide was very kind with our daughter who was a little nervous at first. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon - Lisa
My group had an amazing experience. The had to ride in the heavy rain, but still enjoyed it. Must come back on a sunny day - Margrit
It was an awesome experience - however I have been the only attending person on this ride, they took their time, so it was an exceptional and individual experience for me. I could ride over the polo fields and through the forest, the guide was very nice, fun and knew a lot about the stables, polo games and the region. The horses are very well looked after and they have a nice stable to live in with big grounds around it. Would highly recommend that stable. - Nadine
This ride may have been the highlight of my stay in the Crags. I booked an afternoon ride for the day I arrived. My arrival time was earlier than check in time at my lodge and I considered the ride to be a good way to spend that time, especially since it was close to my lodge. My guide, Cephus, was an absolute delight. I was immediately confident in his ability as a horseman and guide and quickly found him to be a cheerful, interesting conversationalist! My sweet little mount was Biscuit. I am a rather seasoned rider and was initially disappointed in Biscuit's slow, casual saunter. I couldn't have been more wrong about him. I may have never ridden a more delightful horse! Calm, responsive, and sure footed as any horse I've ridden he was full of personality and loved to run! We trotted down forest paths, crossed twinkling streams, and cantered across open fields. Biscuit can do it all. I am completely smitten with him. Two hours passed like minutes and we were all too soon back at the lovely stable. I could have easily enjoyed and entire day with Cephus and Biscuit. Don't miss a chance to ride here. If you do, please give Biscuit a hug and an extra carrot for me. - Michele
A no-frills experience, but we all had a great time and our guide made sure our 7-year-old adventurer was well taken care of. A lovely way to spend the morning. - Al
