Take a stroll along the Hol River, through the fynbos and indigenous forest with our well-trained horses and experienced guides.

Riding hats are compulsory and are provided.
Please be at the stables at least 15 minutes before your riding time as we leave promptly at the allocated time. If you are late the ride will still return at the scheduled time and will be cut short.
If you are more than 15 minutes late then your ride will be canceled and no refund given.
Our trail ride prices are the same for both adults and children.
We have handlers for the less experienced riders and children that do not wish to ride the horse on their own. Children may not share a ride with an adult on one horse.
Ages six and older can ride on their own, depending on their riding skills and comfort. If not, they will be on a lead rein behind one of our guides.
Children under the age of six will be offered lead-rein pony rides under supervision around the farm.
My friends and I had a fantastic time on our ride. It was a highlight of our two weeks in Cape Town and the Garden Route! Very relaxing and the farmland and scenery is beautiful. The horses were lovely and easy to ride. We enjoyed the trotting and cantering, and would have liked to have done more of this, but I appreciate we were beginners! Me (Ida Franzen Leibnitz) and my friend Yaima visited you on: participate in the 2 hour - Fynbos River Ride on 2024-02-14 We were so so happy with the tour and wanted to give feedback on it and our amazing guide that we unfortunately don't remember the name to. We have a picture of him here. Does he still work at your place? We felt so bad that we didn't get to give him a review after and tip cause he really went the extra mile to make our trip super special. We got see lots of animals, gallop, etc and he made an effort to take really great videos and photos.
