On Sundays, we include a visit to a Township Gospel Church (approximately 45 minutes) into our regular Township Tour. This is our most popular tour and seats are limited at church we immense you to the Gospel singing and dancing
Church is an important part of social life in township communities and a great reflection of the social cohesion existing in the Township communities we have built relationships with a number of churches in different communities we invites you to attend an uplifting South African gospel experience with a vibrant and dynamic young congregation
Here the warm welcome of the congregation and their vibrant voices, will echo in your heart, long after you have left Cape Town.
Please Note: from the start of the holiday season in summer many people in township communities go back home in rural Eastern Cape mostly as such churches have fewer members of the congregation and resolve to one service commencing at 8 AM. We have no control of the church service how long praise and worship session will last for start and end time of the praise and worship session. The church experience is real not staged

We had a really wonderful experience. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking to visit a township; to learn, interact with and support the communities. The tour was really well organised and structured which was a bonus. It was a privilege to be able to walk around the township, to learn about the history of Langa and meet some of the residents. We very much appreciated our tour of township Langa and attending a gospel service. 2/3 of Cape Town's population lives in townships, so we felt going there was an essential part of our trip. We felt privileged that people allowed us into the privacy of their homes. Our guide told us about the history of the townships and explained to us the different types of accommodations. Visiting Cape Town would have not have been complete for us without meeting the people in and seeing this part of the city. - Anne-Marie
Hello ! The visit was very interesting. I appreciated the fact that we were a small group of tourists. The driver and guide was always willing to answer questions.
