If you are wanting to keep your hair dry, our crocodile pond tour is designed for you. You will be part of our daily tour, being experienced every hour for 45 minutes. Once welcomed you will be given an educational brief and informative talk on our crocs. After that the pond tour will commence where our experienced guides will take you through the facility.
We boast an amazing underwater viewing cave where you can see the crocodiles swim up close and an overhead walkway from where you can observe these beautiful creatures in close range while the swim and move around.

Crocodile pond tours run from Tuesday – Sunday on the hour from 11:00am – 16:00pm.
Pond tours are open daily during school holidays. Please enquire for group bookings.

R30 per child under 12 years

We loved it! We came to Africanos as a special birthday treat for our 6-year-old grandson, Jackson. He was thrilled and enjoyed every minute, especially being enamored with Scarface. Our guide (I'm sorry, his name slips my mind) gave us a warm welcome and was exceptionally knowledgeable about all the crocodiles. He kept the entire tour engaging and interesting from start to finish. Jackson and his dad will be coming back in the summer to do the dive together with the crocs. We'll all be back! I had a wonderful experience at afrikanos. The service was very good from the front desk to the tour. The bookings were easy to make online. We arrived an hour late and they were kind enough to move our session to the next hour. We came up close and person with the crocodile. Layson was a good host - Nshadi
