Terms and Conditions: Stand Up Paddle Board Lessons
1. Booking and Reservations:
1.1. To book stand-up paddle board (SUP) lessons at the waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa, you must make a reservation through our designated booking channels or at our waterfront shop.
1.2. Lesson availability is subject to weather conditions and instructor availability.
1.3. Lesson reservations may require a non-refundable deposit or full payment in advance, as specified during the booking process.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
2.1. Cancellations made by the participant with at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled lesson may be eligible for a refund or rescheduling, subject to our discretion.
2.2. Lessons canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time may not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
2.3. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a refund.
3. Participant Requirements:
3.1. Participants must be of a minimum age of 9, as specified by our instructors or guidelines.
3.2. All participants must be water safe.
3.3. Participants are required to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities that may affect their ability to safely participate in a SUP lesson.
4. Safety Precautions:
4.1. Participants are required to follow all safety instructions provided by our instructors.
4.2. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) or life vests must be worn at all times during the lesson.
4.3. Instructors may terminate a lesson or prohibit participation if they deem it unsafe for any reason.
5. Equipment Usage:
5.1. Participants are responsible for the proper use and care of all equipment provided during the lesson.
5.2. Any damage to equipment caused by negligence or misuse may result in additional charges.
6. Liability Waiver:
6.1. Participants are required to sign a liability waiver before participating in a SUP lesson. By signing the waiver, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with stand-up paddleboarding.
7. Photography and Media:
7.1. We may take photographs or videos during lessons for promotional purposes. Participants who do not wish to be photographed or filmed should inform the instructor before the lesson begins.
8. Conduct and Respect:
8.1. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner towards instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions:
9.1. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be bound by the terms and conditions in effect at the time of their lesson booking.
By booking a stand-up paddle board lesson with us at the waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in the termination of your lesson without refund or compensation. Enjoy your SUP experience with us!
