Embark on a safari-style wine adventure through the breathtaking Durbanville Wine Valley. Your journey begins at Protea Hotel Durbanville, where you’ll hop aboard a rugged yet comfortable safari vehicle for an unforgettable 6-hour experience of wine tasting and exploration.
Visits to Three Wineries – Savour a curated selection of cool-climate wines at three carefully chosen estates, each offering a unique expression of the valley’s terroir.
Scenic Vineyard Drives – Travel between estates in true safari style, soaking in panoramic views of rolling vineyards and the distant mountain ranges.
Expert Wine Guide On Board – Enjoy fascinating insights from your knowledgeable wine guide, who will share stories about the region’s history, terroir, and winemaking techniques throughout the journey.

Ticketing and Check-In:
You may simply show our tour guide the email confirmation, clearly showing your name and surname.
You can also print the email confirming your booking.
Please ensure you arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time slot.
Cancellations:
If you cancel 24 hours or more before your scheduled time slot, you’ll receive a full 100% refund.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled departure time slot, unfortunately, no refund will be given.
To initiate a refund, simply email cancellations@durbanvillewinesafari.com and include your booking ID in the subject line.

Our partner estates are focused on wine tasting, not hosting parties. To ensure a pleasant experience for all, we expect our guests to behave respectfully and responsibly. This means refraining from loud, disruptive, offensive, or intoxicated behavior. Failure to comply may result in our team suspending or terminating the tour. For safety and security, our vehicles are equipped with CCTV cameras, which are monitored throughout the service. Additionally we subscribe to an armed response security company, in case of emergency events.

Important Accessibility Notice: Our tours are not wheelchair accessible due to the safari-style vehicles and stairs involved. All passengers must be mobile and able to navigate stairs unassisted, both in the vehicles and at the wine estates.
We can highly recommend the Durbanville Wine Safari - Sip & Safari tour. We had such a lovely time with Melissa, Karly and Vincent. This tour is a wonderful option if you want to explore the wine regions in Durbanville, Cape Town and see some African wildlife. Karly and Melissa's knowledge of wine and wine making was exceptional. We had the most incredible experience with durbanville wine safari! My husband and son and I went on then ultimate adventure and did the north side which included groot phesentekraal - which was a hidden gem that had incredible wine and lunch and diemersdal which is of coarse a treat! The driver was so lovely and we didn't want to leave - would highly suggest for a couple, family or group of friends x - Jessica
