The Vine Hopper day ticket is the most cost effective way to experience the Stellenbosch Wine Route. You can decide on what you want to do on the different farms and pay for tastings, tours or activities as you go along. On the Northern Route you could visit the well known Beyerskloof and taste their speciality, Pinotage. Visit Simonsig with it`s fantastic wine, restaurant and views or Warwick, a great place for a picnic. Delheim will spoil you with hospitality and marvelous wine. Remhoogte is the next stop with a relaxing atmosphere before we end the day at L’Avenir with various wine tasting options available

Collections in Cape Town area can be arranged at an additional fee.
Wine tastings rates are not included but it ranges from R55.00 to R120.00 per person per tasting.
Cape Town collections can be arranged subject to availability at a once of fee. Please enquiry for a quote.
Cape Town collections can only be done in the mornings at 8:30- 9:00 and return only after tour has ended leaving Stellenbosch at 17:15-17:30
Please be ready for pick up at your Stellenbosch Central Guesthouse 15 minutes before departure time! If no central Stellenbosch pick up address was supplied by you on booking we will meet you at the Tourism Information office at 47 Church Street.
The Vine Hopper is a great way to still be independent and not linked to a group but having the comfort of being transported, enabling you to enjoy your tastings at your own time without worries of how you are getting home!
We had a great experience hopping the various vineyards and Marshall, the driver and host, ensured everyone had a good time and everyone was onboard. Side note on Simonsig (the 2nd stop): they only really provide wine tasting, no tours, no tea or coffee (which would have been nice at 10 in the morning) and since we also took this as an opportunity for a bit of sight seeing this was a bit disappointing (not at the Vine Hopper's fault of course). We recommend the lunch and tasting at Delheim but others had a great time at Warwick as well. - Wendy
We had a great day, visited 5 wineries on the northern route. We were picked up by Marshall, who took us from winery to winery. Right on time and everything was well organized. We laughed a lot about his "rules", such as: don't taste, but drink! At Simonsig we tasted delicious sparkling wine (Vonkelwijn) and the lunch at Delheim was fantastic. - Esther
Had a very good experience doing the Northern Wine Route with my partner. There are 6 estates on this tour. Got picked up by a car outside our residence and taken to the first estate where we met another two couples and our minibus driver/guide for the day. Ended up visiting "only" 4 estates as we all decided to take our time and enjoyed great food & wine at the Warwick estate before calling it a day. All estates offer something different so there is a bit for everyone. My personal favourites were Simonsig (sparkling), Delheim & Warwick (both whites & reds). It was a great day out, visiting beautiful estates, tasting wines & meeting new friends. Best to start early as on average each visit takes about an hour or two if you stop for lunch. Good to have a the mini bus and not worry about drinking & driving. We got dropped off at our residence too. Highly recommended - Bruno
Wir haben die Tour mit Marshal schon zum 2. Mal in 2 Jahren gemacht. Es war wie beim letzten Mal eine sehr unterhaltsame Tour mit tollen Weingutern (tlw. Andere Guter als 2023) und Verkostungen. Kleiner Tip: wer zu zweit teilnimmt, sollte sich eine Verkostung teilen. Das beste an der Tour war Rusterman Marshal, immer gut gelaunt und engagiert. Wir haben den Tag und die Weine sehr genossen und auch tolle Gesprache mit den anderen Tourgasten. Gerne wieder - Andreas
