Kayak Adventure

Cape Town

Activity Description

Cape Kayaks & Adventures has the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Bay coastline from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. Our shop is conveniently located at Three Anchor Bay where all our kayaks are stored on the beach. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3 – 5 km journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay and then we return to the starting point.

The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what The Mother City has to offer.

The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens, and one of the favorite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside (Benguela) dolphins. They are common companions to our trips – particularly on summer mornings.

Customer Reviews

Another wonderful trip with Cape Kayak Adventures! We'll definitely be back (again!) - Warren

Fantastic activity, with experienced guides. Well worth going out and trying. - Nicholas

Great kayak! What a treat to paddle with seals and dolphins with the gorgeous Cape Town skyline watching over us... - Karin

Superb experience with the Cape Kayak Adventure guys - from the warm welcome on arrival to the humorous, fun outing during which I felt looked after and safe throughout! Seeing dolphins and seals up close was a real treat and I'd highly recommend this as an activity to do whilst visiting Cape Town. - Lyn

A great morning activity for a visit to Cape Town. Although it was overcast and we couldn't get the glorious mountain view from the bay, we still had an amazing experience. Up close & personal with a Souther Right Whale! We also saw dolphins and seals. The rowing itself is not hard. Never felt unsafe. Friendly, helpful guides too. Highly recommended activity. - colette
