Kayak Adventure

Cape Town

Activity Description

Cape Kayaks & Adventures has the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Mountain Marine Protected Area from the sea providing unique and spectacular photo opportunities. Our shop is conveniently located at Three Anchor Bay Beach where all our kayaks are stored on the beach. From Three Anchor Bay we embark on a 3- 4 km journey either towards Granger Bay or Bantry Bay and then we return to the starting point.

The view of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, and the 12 Apostles is unforgettable. Uninterrupted views of our spectacular mountain range and the sea breeze will leave you feeling rejuvenated and hungry to taste more of what The Mother City has to offer.

The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens, and one of the favorite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside (Benguela) dolphins. They are common companions to our trips – particularly on summer mornings.

Customer Reviews

Fantastic kayaking experience with knowledgeable, passionate guides who put safety to kayakers and care for wildlife first. Would definitely book again. - Morag

We have done this experience a number of times and it is always top notch! The guides are friendly and experienced and it is always an amazing time! We have always generally seen sea life from dolphins to seals to penguins etc... and the views back to the land with Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill as the backdrop are stunning! Well worth it! - Lynda

Wonderful experience, with a friendly and professional team of guides. I would highly recommend. - Sheila

We had the pleasure of joining the 9h15 adventure on 25 Jan. Far exceeded our expectations. Beautiful scenery - the chance to see CT from a different angle. Wildlife - penguins and dolphins swimming in and out between the kayaks and getting up close and personal. The guides are excellent. So knowledge, helpful and (most importantly) friendly. They make extra effort to ensure our trip is as special as possible. I'll make this a recurring activity. ? I uploaded photos posted to Facebook (follow their page to see what beautiful tours they have on offer) but have enquired about more. - Eden-Lee

The early morning kayak tour was truly amazing. We had the luck of a whale visiting us and in turn over 200 dolphins passing by. The city and table mountain view from the water is absolutely stunning. The crew is very friendly and skilled. I really recommend this experience! - Mascha
