In the event that Viljoensdrift cancels a cruise due to inclement weather, or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided or exchanged for a voucher.

Thank you for booking your seat on the Uncle Ben II. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Viljoensdrift Fine Wines.

To ensure all your needs are met, we need to point out the following:

• All bookings need to be paid in full. This will confirm your booking.

• Please note that purchasing a voucher does not constitute a booking. A booking for a specific date and time needs to be made.

• Please ensure that you arrive at least 45 minutes before the departure of your booked boat cruise. This will allow for sufficient time to complete the necessary forms, visit our deli and enjoy a wine tasting. The boat departs strictly on the hour.

• Only food and drinks, which have been bought at the Viljoensdrift deli, will be allowed on the boat and in the restaurant.

• Your seat will be pre-allocated, in order to ensure groups sit together. Please let us know if you have seating preference, which we need to take into consideration. All safety protocols are considered, when allocating seats. The seating cannot be changed on the day of the boat cruise.

• Certain seats have shade throughout the duration of the boat cruise. We provide extra shade with umbrellas, when the wind allows. The route of the boat cruise results in the shade changing during the cruise. Please ensure that you book a shaded seat, 48 hours before your cruise.

• No music and smoking are allowed on the boat cruise.

Viljoensdrift shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Viljoensdrift via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Viljoensdrift separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
Viljoensdrift takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Viljoensdrift chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
Variation
Viljoensdrift may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
